Adam Kolakowski

Adam is a high school student at East Rockaway High School, where he is enrolled in the Science Research Program.

He is currently working with me as part of this program.

His project studies how cooperation can emerge in populations of villages that compete over shared resources. Individuals can choose to gather resources, share them with others, or steal from neighboring villages. The central question is:

What mechanisms allow cooperation to emerge and persist in such societies?

Through mathematical and computational models, the project explores how different behavioral rules and incentives shape the evolution of cooperative behavior.
